"In this age of transparency and economic uncertainty, the Plainfield Park District must find additional sources of revenue and be transparent about all its activities. I hope to bring a corporate structure in which the Plainfield Park District is run as a business model rather than a governmental agency."

Peter, along with his wife of 22 years and three children, has been a Plainfield resident since 2000. He is an active soccer player, a self-made business entrepreneur, appointed in 2010 by the now Archbishop Peter Sartin to serve as a Board Member for the Dioceses of Joliet Finance Council, Past President for the Lake Kinzie Industrial Council, President of Mastercraft Products, Inc., Grand Knight of the Plainfield Knights of Columbus, active member of the CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), and proudly serving St. Mary Immaculate Parish on several ministries.

"With children involved in baseball, football, soccer, cheerleading and Poms, the importance of the Park District in our family life can best be summarized as having played a central theme. It is important to me, that the availability of our Parks and Programs thus provided, meet the needs of the community. Fiscal responsibility is key to providing that which the citizens of our community can partake in, always remembering the number one priority in providing such, is keeping costs affordable to the public."

Janet, married for 33 years, moved to Plainfield with her husband in 1990, where they raised their four children. They have five grandchildren. Janet is Treasurer for Mesco, Inc., a family business. She is also a Certified Special Education Paraprofessional, whose concerns for children with Special Needs is well known.
